This Web Site Is Horrible

I could have designed a 'professional' looking site that saturates your eyeballs with slick graphics,

    but I chose not to.

        Why?

I want to capture something that is exceedingly difficult to do on the web.  I want to convey the kind of realism you might expect from a mom and pop deli or a local hairdresser.  We are living in an increasingly alienating world.  This alienation leads to ever escalating and bloated costs of all kinds.  I want to service people directly, and give them solutions that are meaningful, appropriate, and affordable.  In this paradigm costs and usability are radically restructured.  I believe this is not only the best way to serve a customer, it's the best way to reach my own personal fulfillment.  Contact me if you think I might be right for your business.

"Minimalism describes movements in various forms of art and design, especially visual art and music, where the work is stripped down to its most fundamental features."  There is great value in simplicity.

These ideas don't just live in some design studio or an art museum.  They are practical and applicable to general web design.  Learn what I am doing for a local auto mechanic.

This is the whole wheat of websites.  I hope you enjoy.

"
What I expect from any work of art is that it surprises me, that it violates my customary valuations of things and offers me other, unexpected ones." -Jean Dubuffet
